Amazon invoice rejection

Amazon rejected my invoice. Could it be a brand, model, date, or supplier mismatch?

A checklist for Amazon sellers whose invoice or supplier document was rejected because the evidence may not match the listing or request.

Quick answer

A real invoice can still fail review when Amazon cannot match it to the listing, supplier chain, affected ASINs, quantity, date range, or exact authenticity request. The next packet should make that connection explicit instead of only reuploading the file.

Do not treat the invoice as self-explanatory

Amazon reviewers may be checking whether the invoice proves the specific product and time period under review. If the invoice uses a different brand name, parent company, shorthand model, bundle title, or supplier entity, the connection may need a clean evidence map.

Evidence checklist

  • Supplier name and seller entity line up with the sourcing story.
  • Product names, model numbers, UPC/EAN, quantities, and dates connect to the affected ASINs.
  • Invoice date fits the period Amazon requested and the inventory or sale window.
  • Addresses, payment proof, supplier contact details, and authorization chain do not contradict each other.

Public-safe boundary

  • Use redacted exact wording and generic evidence names in public.
  • Do not post raw invoices, identity files, buyer/order data, tax/bank details, or login access.
  • Appeal Kit helps sellers build stronger pre-submission packets; formal service scope is covered in Terms.

Need a safe first pass?

Appeal Kit can help turn redacted Amazon wording and a generic document list into an evidence-gap map before another weak submission. Do not paste private invoices, account IDs, or supplier documents into public comments.
