Before paying a service provider for an inauthentic item suspension, map the exact Amazon wording to the supplier chain, invoice fields, affected ASINs, purchase window, and what the last upload failed to prove. A longer appeal cannot fix a missing product-to-source connection.
Start with the notice wording
Separate whether Amazon says inauthentic, counterfeit, authenticity, invoice, or proof of supply. That wording decides whether the first gap is sourcing proof, listing identity, supplier authorization, or a rejected document explanation.
Proof gap to check
- Affected ASIN, product title, model, UPC/EAN, quantity, and invoice line match the notice.
- Supplier name, seller entity, address, date, and authorization chain do not contradict the account or listing.
- The next packet explains what changed after the rejected invoice or authenticity upload.
Do not repeat
- Do not resend the same invoice without a field-level map.
- Do not paste raw invoices, supplier records, buyer/order data, or account IDs publicly.
- Check the next submission only after the notice-to-proof gap is clear.
